Using services like AWS Lambda, we are able to remove infrastructure from the equation for serving and scaling applications. AWS Lambda is Amazon Web Services’ serverless computing platform that runs code in response to events. The service manages the compute resources necessary to run the code and can scale from a few requests per day to thousands per second.
